Meet the Founder
Meet Julie Stapleton.
Julie Stapleton didn't originally set out to become a home builder.
A graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a degree in Music, Julie began her career with a very different plan. But after graduation, an opportunity in the housing industry revealed something unexpected: she had found the work she was meant to do.
Julie quickly built a successful career in new construction, learning the industry while discovering which parts of the process mattered most to her.
The homes mattered. But so did the people building them.
Over time, Julie's vision became increasingly clear. She wanted to create a building company where success wasn't defined by volume. She wanted the freedom to focus on the individual homeowner, the experience and the quality of every home.
Kensington Family Homes grew from that vision.
Today, the company remains intentionally personal, combining modern construction tools and technology with something refreshingly traditional: genuine relationships, accountability and care.
